We are an early learning academy focused on social-emotional development and early literacy and numeracy. Curriculum Overview
We offer the CBC–CBE curriculum, designed in line with KICD’s Needs Assessment and the BECF vision to develop seven core competencies: communication and collaboration, self-efficacy, critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and imagination, citizenship, digital literacy, and learning to learn. Learners are assessed through a competency-based grading system with four levels: Exceeds Expectations (80–100%), Meets Expectations (65–79%), Approaching Expectation (50–64%), and Below Expectation (0–49%). Our teachers continuously evaluate learners using these standards to support their growth and progress.
Our Co-curricular Activities
Athletics
Our students are passionate about sports and athletics and have the freedom to choose the events they enjoy. We participate in inter-school, sub-county, county and national-level competitions.
Football
Our football program builds teamwork, discipline and talent. Learners train regularly and take part in inter-school and regional competitions.
Performing Arts & Music
Our learners explore vocal and instrumental music, allowing them to express creativity and build confidence. They participate in school performances and music festivals at various levels.
